A simple yet effective solution for many heating problems. Trench Heating can be incorporated at the design stage and comprises a waterproof trench sunk into the ground, containing a natural convector heating element, feet, baffles and a rigid top frame designed to take a choice of grilles. The only part visible at floor level is the grille. Positioned in front of an expanse of glass, eg patio windows and sliding folding conservatory doors, the heating works by creating a 'chimney effect' which draws in cold air to the bottom of the trench. This is then passed over the heating element and rises as a curtain of warm air, not only warming, but helping to eliminate condensation as well. The top grille comes in a choice of woods or aluminium options. It can be safely rolled back for ease of cleaning. The range is extensive and all products are made to measure. Please allow 3-4 weeks for manufacture and delivery. |
